  The 30th Annual Acadiana Flow Measurement Society Short Course is coming. The short course is Tuesday and Wednesday, April 13th and 14th 2010. Mark your calendars. The exhibit setup will be Monday, April 12th 2010.

 The Short Course is free, but preregistration is recommended. We request all attendees to have a registration badge before they enter the exhibit and seminar area. This allows the Society to gather information and pre-registration will also shorten the time you will stand in line.   The 2010 AFMS Short Course will once again be at The Lafayette Hilton and Towers. For room reservations call the Hilton at (337) 235-6111, ext. 2259 or Toll Free 1-(800) 33CAJUN(332-2586) and ask for AFMS Special rate code AFO or ONLINE . Please call between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. To receive group rates, reservations must be made prior to 3/217/2010. Reservations after this date are subject to availability.

  The annual Membership Drive will be During the 2010 show.
ª       We urge you to bring a colleague, someone working in our industry, and get them to join the Society.  We need more active members.  The success of your society depends on membership and participation.
ª       Annual membership dues are $25.00 and will be collected at the show.
ª       The election and installation of officers of the AFMS will be held after the 2010 show.

  We are building our e-mail address book.  Instead of faxing newsletters and meeting announcements to the membership, we will e-mail them.  This will save time for the working members.   New membership forms will be available at the Short Course.  Please make sure you have you e-mail address on the membership form.  If you do not have access to e-mail, please indicate that on the membership form and we will fax AFMS information to you.
